BRAINTREE, MASS. (March 17, 2020) – Our actions demonstrate our commitment to the health and wellness of our employees, our members, and our community. Our employees are equipped with remote access to allow them to work from the safest places for their individual situations. Our remote capabilities allow us to function under current conditions. We are confident that we can continue to provide best in class member service through all business lines and channels – whether it’s deposit or loan products, at the drive-up, on the phone, or using our mobile app, we will continue to serve our members.

Taking care of the members of our community is the most important thing we do.

To that end, we have developed an Emergency Loan Fund for those that have been affected by the pandemic.

On behalf of our Board of Directors, Employees, and Executive leadership team, we have established a fund to provide 12-month unsecured personal loans, at up to $2,500 per applicant. Additionally, the first payment can be due up to 60 days after closing, allowing additional relief for those who need it.

Each loan through the Emergency Loan Fund will also be at a rate that is lower than our traditional unsecured personal loans, reducing expenses for our community in need of relief.

From myself and your dedicated team here at Liberty Bay Credit Union, we thank current members for your continued loyalty, and we welcome new members with open arms. As a member of Liberty Bay you are part of our family, and together we will get through these challenging times.
