BRAINTREE, MASS. (January 30, 2019) – Liberty Bay Credit Union, one of the most established credit unions in New England, is proud to announce that Paige Scott, Processor, has been honored with the Massachusetts Mortgage Bankers Association (MMBA) Rising Star Award.
MMBA’s Inaugural Rising Star Award was launched to identify young professionals in the mortgage industry who demonstrate passion and ingenuity in their role, thereby creating inspiration in the workplace and the mortgage lending field.
Scott, along with 12 other young professionals, was recognized at the MMBA Annual Dinner on January 24th at the Blue Hills Country Club in Canton, MA.
Scott was nominated for the award by her co-worker, Devon McLaughlin, who is also a processor at Liberty Bay Credit Union. In her nomination, McLaughlin wrote, “Paige has demonstrated tremendous growth throughout her short time here at Liberty Bay Credit Union.” Scott started as a bank teller and was quickly promoted to her role as a processor in the mortgage department. “Paige constantly shows her dedication within the company and always lends a hand to those in need,” added McLaughlin.
“It is a great honor to be recognized for my work at Liberty Bay Credit Union,” said Paige Scott. “It is especially gratifying to know that I was nominated by my co-worker, Devon, who sees the effort that I put into my job each day.”
