As a Liberty Bay member age 18 or older you can help protect your family’s financial future with Accidental Death and Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance underwritten by Minnesota Life Insurance Company. In addition to the $2,000.00 Credit Union Paid coverage paid for you by Liberty Bay, you can purchase Additional Coverage at group rates.

You cannot be turned down for the Credit Union Paid Coverage —or any additional coverage you may select. All coverage reduces by 50% at age 70 and older, regardless of age at enrollment.

Remember, the $2,000.00 coverage is at no cost to you. It’s complimentary of Liberty Bay Credit Union.

Hospital Accident Protection

With Liberty Bay’s Hospital Accident Protection, underwritten by Federal Insurance Company, when a serious covered accident lands you in the hospital you can receive the following Cash Benefits:

• $1,800 a day Intensive Care Confinement
• $900 a day Hospital Confinement

Recuperative Care Insurance

You’ll receive cash benefits paid directly to you for a covered accident or any sickness — even a pre-existing condition — paid for each day you’re in the hospital with this members-only plan underwritten by Minnesota Life Insurance Company.

That means you can get:

• $200.00 a day per covered hospitalization due to any sickness
• $400.00 a day per covered hospitalization due to any accident

You’ll have an in-hospital benefit and a recuperation benefit — that add up to $300.00 a day — for each day you’re in the hospital. Terms, conditions, and exclusions apply. And any lump-sum cash benefits are paid in addition to any other insurance you may have.
